Very easy to use but be aware there is a CONSTANT clicking/timer noise. If it were a lamp in the living room where there is other normal ambient noise, it wouldn't make much of a difference to me. But I bought it because I needed a timer so my kids room's night projector would turn off after a few hours. The constant clicking sound seems so amplified in a quiet room when you're trying to sleep. Works fine, just not for my purpose. Replaced with a silent digital version.
