Pros: It's quiet (no loud vibrations/rattles when adjusted correctly) and it cleared the water out of my reef. Directions were fuzzy and images fuzzy. I had to watch a YouTube video on how to set it up. If you've had a protein skimmer before you probably know how to do this, but I've never had a protein skimmer so I've had a hard time. It rattled at first, so I had to go back to YouTube to see what I was doing wrong. My guess is that the bottom (where it sucks water) was too low in the tank so when I shortened the pipe it stopped rattling. I can see all the yellow/brown stuff it's pulling out and it has helped my water look blue (used to be pure green, now it's pure blue). I have this for my 55 gallon reef tank. It took me about a week to start seeing all the dirt in the cup. So far, so good. I've seen other sites sell them for over $150. So it was worth trying this one because I got it for a good deal here. However, after a year of use, problems began to appear, causing each other. The power begins to dwindle and weaken. I have to constantly unplug it and change the water supply for it to work properly.
