This KODLIX GK45 Mini-PC offers a lot of computing power at a reasonable price. The Intel Celeron J4105 processor/UHD Graphics 600 handles daily tasks/web surfing with ease and plays HD/4k videos on video streaming websites without any hiccups. Casual games also work well on this mini PC. A power adapter is included to power the device. I love that KODLIX implemented some handy features on this GK45. Connections, for example - the GK45 has built-in wireless connections, including dual-band AC Wi-Fi and BT 5.0. There are three USB 3.0 ports on board that can be used to connect accessories such as keyboard/mouse/external hard drive. HDMI and mini-DP connections (up to 4k/60Hz) are available for video output. Interestingly, the GK45 has a USB-C port that can double as a power-in/video-out port. On newer monitors with a supported USB-C port, I can connect the GK45 to the monitor to send video to the monitor while drawing power from it (without connecting a power adapter to the GK45). There are 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports that can be used to set up multiple configurations e.g. B. bridging between two networks, or to increase network speed by using them all at the same time. Noise Level - I've used the GK45 for a variety of tasks and it stays cool while the fan is fairly quiet when watching 4k videos, editing text and browsing websites. When I'm playing games and editing videos, it gets a little warmer when I touch the case, but I don't hear much noise from the fan at all. Storage – The GK45 comes with an integrated NVMe SSD as standard storage. This offers a higher speed than via a SATA port. The back panel is removable and I can easily add extra storage if needed. There is space for a 2.5-inch hard drive or an optional SSD via the M2 connection. There is also a TF card reader on the side. However, for the best performance, you need to install the operating system on an NVMe SSD. Overall it's a pretty good mini PC for the price. I use it as my personal PC when I'm traveling as it's quite compact in size and easy to carry, and at home I set it up as my main HTPC for multimedia purposes.
