I have experience with security systems. This is our third home security and I worked with two other systems before retiring. Once the system was hooked up, we found that the instructions we received did not match the unit we had purchased. We tried contacting tech support via email and phone but there was no response. Finally we were able to get through on the phone at 10:00 am. The responding technician was based in Hong Kong and spoke no English but was willing to communicate via text messages. After 15 minutes we still had no replies and were told it was time for them to close and he wanted to wait until tomorrow? I assume that was in the middle of the night? Despite this, he did not get back to us the next day and after three days we still have not received a response to our email query. We also searched the internet for possible answers to our problems, but found nothing. We had some problems. Time kept changing. Although we changed the motion recording settings, only the DVR recorded a continuous record for all 6 channels we used. This scrolls the memory very quickly. Events in yellow showed up in the log more than half the time, but there was no movement to show them as movement. The fastest playback speed we could achieve was 2x. Regardless of the weather, we watched it live or through the phone app. Needless to say, it takes 12 hours to filter out 1 day of recordings with just 2 replays. We are very disappointed as previous reviews have been mostly positive and we have spent many hours on the dash cam for which we have not been able to get support.
