A 27-inch 1440p 144Hz monitor for $299 sounds like a bargain. Note, however, that even after diving into the settings, I found the color accuracy of this monitor to be very poor. The first one I got had a dead pixel so I returned it, got another one and it ALSO had a dead pixel. I'm not blaming you for dead pixels, but I'm probably keeping in mind that you can also run into quality assurance issues. After the second return I just decided to spend the extra money on a higher quality monitor, the LG 27GL850-B, which was also IPS, and the difference in picture quality day and night made me realize how awful VA panels are are. If you're on a budget, $299 overall is hard to compete with what you're getting here. provided you don't get any with dead pixels on arrival.
