This is not one of those reviews written by a troll living under the rude Three Goat Bridge. I had 4 Zosi camera systems; The first two were replaced with new technology and #3 went to my previous house when I sold it, making this house #4. After deciding to set up the NVR, I connected the antennas to all the cameras and turned them on. All my previous systems were hardwired to the DVR so it took me maybe half an hour to sync the DVR to all the cameras and I made sure each camera was labeled according to its position on the DVR (#1, #). . 2, #3β¦). Use the small target stickers that come with each camera. I've always used the "hold the camera in place while I drill the pilot hole" method. then screw the camera to the tree using the method, and I always drop something, turn a screw in at an angle or scratch the paint (or all 3). One thing that could be improved is the screw that allows you to rotate the camera up/down or side to side. It's easy to unscrew this thing too far so that the screw comes out. I loosen this bolt on my bench with a rag underneath so I can find it if it falls out, which is a lot easier than sifting through the mulch in my flower beds. The Wi-Fi capabilities of this system are fantastic, You can mount a [wired] camera too far for a coaxial cable and these wireless cameras only need an outlet. Speaking of [12V] power cords, I only connect one camera to each 12V cord, with no splitters. Everything is on and showing as advertised with a few exceptions where I messed up and when I contacted Zosi customer service they were VERY quick to diagnose any issue and my errors were fixed just as quickly. Something else; I've never had any problems with the app, quite the opposite. Setting up cameras in real time with a phone in hand is one of the best things about this system.
