I ordered these wiper blades because the manual I have says an 11 inch blade will fit and it does. But they have a weird plastic tab that isn't perforated so you can't press it down to lock the blade in place. The old Bosch blades I removed had a small metal pin that should lock it on most blades. There are minimal instructions on the packaging and a picture of some sort of pin that can be inserted into the brush's hole to hold it in place, but the wiper blade doesn't come with that pin (and apparently the 1973 Beetle doesn't have one either no). the packaging of these brushes must always be torn up, opening them ruins the packaging and makes it difficult to return them i now have 2 wiper blades that are no longer usable.
