In 2018 the ASUS VG248QE was the first 144Hz monitor I bought and I loved it! until I got this monitor and realized how much technology has changed over the past few years. The IPS panel has a NOTICEABLE difference compared to the old TN panel. Image quality and clarity are excellent, colors are rich and vibrant. It's very slick, with no backlight, unlike the ASUS VG248QE, which had plenty of it in each corner of the screen, and low-light settings looked poor. This monitor is just great. Amazing price too. However, to fix the yellow cast in white, I increased the brightness by 20 in the AMD Catalyst and set the color temperature to 8500 instead of AMD's standard 6500, now the picture is perfect.
