Review on Halo Home White Bluetooth 4.0 Smart Internet Access Bridge by Doug Layman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There were problems at first but now it works

*** Updated 04/01/2019 from 1 star to 4 stars Worked initially. Then it quickly became buggy (losing some but not all functionality). Then I completely lost the ability to control my Eaton Halo Home lights. All in about a month. I've tried resetting via the internet bridge, but that doesn't change anything. However, I called Eaton Tech Support and they were able to suggest a few troubleshooting methods (mainly removing lights from the Halo Home app and then adding them back) that resolved my issues. Not sure why it got messed up in the first place, but now they work. The Internet Access Bridge seems to connect to my router (Apple Airport Extreme) fairly reliably, and the range of its Bluetooth mesh network is good. The general functionality is good. I use the Internet Access Bridge to control Eaton LED outdoor spotlights, although I understand this product will work with other Eaton lights as well. You must also install the Halo Home app. I was pretty dissatisfied at first but now I'm very satisfied thanks to Eaton's technical support team.
