I cook a lot of dishes with sauce, like curry, spaghetti, chili, etc. If this dish moves sideways for even a minute, it's a mess. They never claim to be airtight and they don't have a ziplock, but it doesn't hold up. I even tried putting thick rubber bands on top to keep the lid tight, but it didn't help much. If you eat a lot of leaky foods, do what I'm doing now and keep them in place all the time. I've also noticed that my bamboo panels warp over time, but this doesn't affect their performance. Other than that, they work great for what they are. I think I just wanted them to do something they shouldn't be doing. I just changed the way I use it and now I have no more problems.
