Copper-plated aluminum, not full copper
Nowhere in the description does it say this is a CCA, only the label on the spool in the photos. This will work for my application, but I wouldn't buy it if I noticed it wasn't solid copper. Otherwise the shell looks decent and I was able to easily tin the wires with solder. It's decent for what it is. Deducted 1 star because it was not specified that it was copper-plated aluminum.
Pros
- Wire is wound on a rigid plastic spool for easy metering. 2 shell colors make it quick and easy to distinguish between polarity and numbered markings for accuracy.
