Review on Siraya Tech Simple Washable UV Curing by Flex Graham

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Finished prints are hygroscopic :(

After using Siraya Fast I really liked this resin for its claims of faster printing and easier cleaning. Unfortunately, I didn't get good results. It definitely is faster prints than any other resin and I've had no failures. However, when I tried cleaning with 50% alcohol (which should have been more than enough) it seemed to me that I could never remove all of the resin mixture rather than dissolving it, as it should. I ended up cleaning at 99% for a final rinse to remove any residue. Since you then don't have to dip in water to cure it, it seemed like the surface remained tacky and never fully cured, even after being in my UV chamber and being in strong sunlight Finally and most importantly to me seems the finished part to react water and/or moisture. I've printed several thin-walled prototypes. Actions. Despite the excellent printing, they began to warp and warp after a day or two as they dried in the warm air of the Arizona desert. Frustrated that my part was ruined, I did a test and put the part in a water bath for an hour and found that the cured plastic absorbed water fairly easily, turning my part into what I call "hard jelly". would. I suspect that if you only print thick, bulky parts and live somewhere with constant moderate humidity, this resin might work. I don't think this is a good idea if you want dimensionally stable parts with thin walls and very dry or humid air.
