****UPDATE 4****One more star. The reason for the increase is the low price of the filters. They handle allergens well but as I said in a previous update they are not H13. Most HEPAs only make 3 microns or more, so this one falls into that category. It stayed calm. Filters have been changed several times with no problems. It's decent. Not great but decent***UPDATE 3**** Finally got a new device from the company. Works better than the old one. It's not that loud, but this filter is NOT HEPA H13. This is the real NERA. It does not filter below 3 microns. I checked with a particle counter and it doesn't filter out 2.5 microns or less. Suitable for dust but not dangerous particles. *** UPDATE 2 *** Absolutely ZERO customer support. They explained how the auto function died completely and said it works fine. Enlightened about the whining noise in sleep mode, no response. He returns to Revane. Spend your money on a device with customer support. ANY device except this company *** UPDATE 1 *** After a few days of use I like it. The sensor could be a little more sensitive. It takes a lot of dust or smoke to trigger an air quality sensor. It then remains at a high level for only a few seconds. If they could tweak the firmware or use a more sensitive sensor, this would be one of the best cleaners! My 3 stars stay the same for now. A little smaller with a less powerful fan, but that's not a bad thing! I love the auto function! Works well, good filter and good seal on both ends of the filter (this is an open filter design, Levoit is closed on one side). It's a bit louder than Levoit when sleeping, but I feel like it lets more air through at high frequencies, but is smaller. CFM and smaller than Levoit. I will update with photos and cleaner durability. Both air purifiers were bought and paid for by me. The stars rise and fall as you upgrade.
