I bought this monitor to use with my Dell laptop to make it easier to use my online textbooks when writing college papers. I haven't used the included stand since I bought the stand for it. I can say that the setup was very easy, both for the stand and the laptop. I found the image very good and the text very readable. Preset modes make it easy to get the best contrast for your use of the monitor. I particularly like how the monitor turns off five minutes after unplugging it from the computer, which is nice because I'm not wasting extra power, but I don't have to wait 10 seconds if I accidentally unplug it. It's definitely worth the money.
