Awl. The body is tiny. It's hard to resist poking through thicker skin. One of the needles is not the same as in the photo. It's just a needle (eye versus point) so it can't be used with an awl. This is a really heavy sewing needle, but not an awl. The other two, including the curved needle, are only for pulling (eye open) and can only be used to pull the thread back through the fabric. It is useful but not what is shown in the picture. It would make a great camping repair kit due to its small size, but since the needles don't fit in the body this rules it out. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with that. It's just useless. It's too small for heavy use, and since the needles don't stay in the body, it doesn't lend itself well to field gear either.
