I am using a Peplink Balance One switch in a SOHO environment. I have two AP One Enterprise and one AP One mini that I use in a 2000 square meter site. ft. My provider has a speed of 400 MBit Spectrum cable. The best 802.11AC throughput I can get from 2.4GHz or 5GHz radios is around 90Mbps. As a test, I recently installed the wireless router (AP only) that comes with was delivered to my Spectrum which was sitting on a shelf. I was amazed to see stable WiFi throughput of over 300Mbps. So I have to conclude that either I'm not setting up my AP One properly or Pepwave's WiFi is sub-standard. As a retired network engineer, I have an access point that's tuned for maximum performance.
