We live in Texas so we don't often need such a warm coat, except for January and February MAYBE. But, we are going to New York this winter and really needed a warm coat for my husband. Really happy with this one! It has double breast pockets, an internal pocket and two outside pockets. The outside waist pockets won't really fit a pair of snow gloves (not on your hands, but rolled up), but they will more slim gloves. Husband had plenty of room in pockets with gloves on. The sleeves have inner sleeves that gather at the wrist to protect snow or rain from getting in. It has inner snaps and a zipper and the hood cinches. It is super warm but low profile. You don't look like the marshmallow man! If you are between sizes, maybe size down.
