Review on Libman Roller Mop Refill for Deep Cleaning (02017) by Daniel Smith

About 2-3 years ago Libman changed the design of the replacement heads for their roll mop. To be honest, the current style (#2016) is not worth buying. The sponge is much softer; the stem is rounded, not flat; and it doesn't have a mop strip on one end like the original model. The main problem is that it breaks down quickly. Large chunks fall out for no apparent reason. (I always sweep the kitchen and bathroom before mopping, so there's nothing on the floor to pry large chunks of sponge out of the mop head - and yet after 3 months the mop head was useless.) Finally, I called Liebman's customers. Complain to the service department today. The rep gave me links for 2 new mops (#3020 and #3103). I'll check the reviews here, but I don't have the money to buy a new mop head right now. My advice is to find another mop; Do not buy gas station #2016.
