Inexpensive but works well
I bought this to drill six 3β³ wide, 1β³ deep holes in the concrete steps leading up to my spa (I then turned out the centers). The concrete was about as hard as it gets, but this hole saw cut through all six with no problem - just take it slow and don't overheat the piece and you'll be fine. I was also impressed with the price - $10 delivered to your door in just a few days! Another option is to rent something for $50-$100, but it works.
