Review on 🚰 Deltas RP4993 Black Small Faucet by Virgilio Feliciano

I have installed several of these kits in sinks and have had trouble fitting the seat into the hole. The seat and spring don't go into the hole together, I just have to insert the spring (big end down) because the rubber seat always tightens sideways like it's too big for the hole, even when I try to lower it with a Phillips screwdriver or other tool. The holes are clean, I use silicone grease. I finally learned how to put a plastic straw in the rubber seat to hold it in place so I can hold it upright while lowering it onto the spring. Then I pressed the seat with a small screwdriver while pulling out the straw. The parts work great, they haven't leaked in 27 years but the stems needed replacing so I replaced them at the same time.
