This one is unique because it depicts Santa Claus in a sleigh pulled by reindeer, circling the mountain. The sled goes around the mountain three times, and at the fourth turn, the sled points down, and each character can be estimated. The mountain is well detailed and I like it because it looks like a village. I like the large but small footprint of this snow globe. It fits almost anywhere. The music is great. This is not a toy. Handle it gently and carefully so as not to knock any of the figures from where they are floating in the liquid. Do not hold it by the handle as it is heavy. Hold your hand underneath. This snow globe requires a lot of batteries. If you use the timer constantly to run it for 6 hours every day, you will need to change 3 AA batteries about every three days. You will know the batteries are running low because the lights are dimming and the speed of the shiny snow is slowing down. You don't need a tiny screwdriver to change the batteries. I hope the maker will make more spinning snow globes for different scenes. It would be nice to have a spinning snow globe that can be enjoyed all year round.
