Review on 🏎️ K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance for 2004-2012 VOLVO (C30, S40 II, V50, S40) 69-9000TS - Guaranteed Horsepower Boost by Carlos Barrett

The K&N website says this air intake is compatible with all 2008 Volvo S40's. The air intake box has a sticker that says 2004-S40 2006, and the instructions inside the box say S40 2004-2007. someone at K&N is crazy because the website is wrong and the box doesn't match their instructions! About the parts: The parts looked good and would have looked even better if they fitted my 2008 Volvo S40 T5 AWD. There wasn't a single component that was compatible with my car. Installing the heat shield was extremely tough. The wiring/connectors for the ECM prevented it from being attached to the heat shield and therefore prevented the heat shield from being installed on the vehicle. Orienting the MAF sensor as instructed will also place it at the wrong angle, making it impossible to connect the connector. The only solution to this would be to drill new holes and realign the MAF sensor, which I didn't plan to do as everything else was going wrong. In short, the quality of the parts was decent, but they will NOT install a 2008 Volvo S40 T5 AWD, although K&N claims it is necessary. It might match other S40s, but not this one.
