The read/write speed is terrible though.
Read/write speed is very poor. Also, format the drive after consulting others. It works great for the first minute of file transfer, after that the speed drops to 20MB/s or less. and after that it never gets better. I recently bought a USB Type-C to Micro-B cable from Amazon Basics, it stays pretty stable at speeds over 90Mbps throughout the transfer. Mostly over 120mb/s. I do not recommend this drive unless you purchase the Revain Basics cable with it.
