Use fresh batteries, not rechargeable ones

Good laser level. I thought it was cheap or defective when I first used it because it was very dark, but I used some rechargeable batteries that didn't have enough charge. I switched to regular AA batteries and it got very bright!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

This tool is useful when laying tiles

This tool is very practical for laying large format porcelain stoneware tiles in our bathrooms. The thin set covers lines drawn with chalk on the floor, so this laser line is very useful in that regard. This tool was worth the price I paid for it.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Without automatic

Just another toy not used.!

I found it useless. The beam isn't bright enough to see on the ground 20 feet away and you can't get close enough to walls etc. If you just want to check squareness, that might be fine, but you can't lay out your design with it.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great in low light/Good in bright light

Great in low light, a little harder to see in bright light. I made an intricate herringbone pattern for her out of 6x24 tiles. This really helped me keep the middle row centered. I would rate higher if the laser was more powerful. I hope that was helpful.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Shoots two perpendicular laser beams along any surface.

Fires two perpendicular laser beams along any surface you use it on. It has two bubble levels to ensure the jet is even, for example against a wall. It comes with sticky putty to stick on the back, so you can temporarily stick this thing on the wall when you're working alone. It's also very durable. Exactly what you expect from a Bosch product.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • Available in white only

Worthy for the price. Has some caveats

This is a decent laser square to keep on hand. Not suitable for well-lit rooms or long distances. In addition, the laser is easily blocked. If you put a tile in its path, it ends there. She won't fly. I'll still use this here and there and it's decent for what it is and how much it costs. I ordered a square Pls a few weeks after receiving this one. And he's much better at everything. It's also 5 times more money. Could end up using this more than anything else in the house. Nice laser, just not

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • So-so

invaluable for laser levels and accessories

My son bought a new house, 310,000, ripped out all the carpet and old tile. Need my help laying 1200 feet of new tile. "NOT WITHOUT A NEW LASER"! Bought this one and have never regretted it. 30+ foot joists, light and hitting the face of each brace many feet away, plus cement between tiles along the way. A perfect 90º angle and we were able to match the gaps between rooms to a fraction of an inch with doors on two walls leading into the hallways and kitchen. Worth the price of the ticket. Now…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Update Availability

Best Laser Square in the Lot

Wow. I read other reviews, they are not enough. Tools are not magic tools. When you know what you're doing and use it as intended, it's amazing. Sticking removable clay to a wall is a bit of a hype, but you really don't need this trick. It just makes it "easy" for the casual hobbyist. I've used it to remodel my kitchen: backsplashes, cabinets, tile floors, appliances, countertops. Everything is square. Trust me it's very thin on the eyes but being really square makes all the little details…

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Socket Required

Not square and laser lines too weak

I am a big fan of Bosch tools and own a number of Bosch products including two self leveling cross line lasers. For me, Bosch means quality and performance, so I had high expectations when I ordered this laser square. I was seriously disappointed when I turned it on. There are two major problems: First, the laser lines are faint and difficult to see in normal room lighting. Second, lasers are not square. Not only are they not perpendicular to each other, they are not even parallel to the base…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Useless features
