Review on 🔪 BESWOOD220 - 9" Premium Electric Deli Meat Cheese Food Slicer: Chromium-plated Steel Blade for Commercial and Home Use, 240W by Billy Balwin

I bought this slicer for home use, mainly for slicing meat for jerky or sandwiches and vegetables. This is how the slicer works great. I get even slices of partially frozen meat and can cut vegetables into thin slices. It's a bit fiddly to clean, but I think it's an issue with slicers in general. I gave this 4 stars due to a quality issue that I noticed while cleaning. First, the handles on the sliding table and blade sheath were incredibly strong. I was afraid of breaking something trying to unscrew them. When I removed the slide out cleaning tray, it was difficult to pull it apart. The casting was very rough and unfinished and the area around the Insert was severely cracked. (See picture.) For the price I would have expected a higher quality finish. I hope it doesn't let you down because otherwise I like the slicer.
