They're comfortable to sleep in - you don't feel them at all through the pillowcase - and they give me extra reassurance about allergens. I can't say exactly how much they've changed, but subjectively I feel like I feel a little better with them than without (to be honest, I even use anti-allergy pillows at all). They also seem well made, with a small flap that closes the zipper (although I've seen better there - the flap on them only closes the end of the zipper when closed, not the full length of the zipper. On the other hand, the zipper teeth seem thinner here). After my first pair, I ordered a few more to cover all my pillows. The only thing to note is that on my first order I did not receive the "ENCASE" pillowcases (in a black box) but regular Sleep Tite pillowcases (in a white box). The latter are definitely not that good defensively. However, Revane quickly corrected the situation.
