A bit inflexible and expensive these aren't the best gloves although they don't seem to tear with light use. However, I won't be buying them again as I've found that they all leave an inexplicable slimy residue. Whatever the substance, it probably shouldn't be on a glove that's likely to be in contact with the skin for an extended period of time. My guess is that they were improperly stored, perhaps in a very hot environment, causing them to fall apart a bit. I was arguing a bit about how to rate them. They say "for non-medical use only" and I sincerely hope no one uses them for cooking. But in the end, any residue from the melted nitrile is likely toxic. Better avoid these
