Review on πŸ”¬ Creality 3D Official 235x235x3mm Tempered Glass Build Plate by Ben Boulanger

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Warping and very poor adhesion

Failed to load media. Other reviews here mention good adhesion but my bed must be from a faulty batch as the PLA refuses to stick to it even when the bed is heated to 60 degrees and the nozzle is in almost direct contact with the bed. In contrast, the standard platform that came with my Ender 3 has such strong adhesion that it takes a lot of effort to remove the part from the PLA after printing. The attached video shows how easy it is to remove the PLA filament after printing. printed on a glass platform heated to 60 degrees with the appropriate layer height. The second problem is that the platform is noticeably deformed. If I move the bed back and forth and look at the reflection of the overhead light, the reflection gets distorted. Of course, one of the main reasons for using a glass bed is to have a perfectly flat surface. I will try replacing the glass bed and will update the review once I try a replacement. Update: Downgraded one star since I contacted Creality support and they didn't help at all. They first asked me to send them a video illustrating the problem and after spending a lot of time on it I got this answer: - You only replace the bed if you put 4 sheets of paper (0.4mm!) between them can slide glass top and flat surface - If there is poor adhesion, it is recommended to use a glue stick or other adhesive. Of course, this glass platform will be returned to Revain. As another reviewer mentioned here, it appears this product has recently changed (Creality has started using a different finish) and the old 4 and 5 star ratings no longer apply.
