In fairness the product description is not a Tripath amp but a deliberate attempt to imitate the Lepai (Parts Express own brand) version is clear due to its use of one similar-sounding model name LP-2020A with a "unique" aluminum body. I don't feel like checking the real power, but qualitatively I would put it at 20% when the RMS value is 20W. Either someone stole the listing and is sending out junk, or people in Bukang are moving fast. I have two Lepai amps, both are excellent. I wanted to add a third one in a new location and as this one had a black case which suited the location better I just replaced it with a silver one - same input, speakers and power supply. I was stunned at how much worse this is for essentially the same price. Like a mannequin I have already disposed of the packaging, otherwise I would have sent it back. I'll take one from Parts Express, this one is useless. Note: Genuine Parts Express is available from Revain, but it's worth checking the price directly on their website as well, as there can sometimes be a significant difference. It's technically a working amp, but compared to the version it's replicating, it puts a fiberglass body on a VW Beetle and says it's a Ferrari.
