I clearly miscalculated this set before ordering. I assumed the speed squared was closer to half the size, as did the combination squared so it could be plugged in. I basically bought this for a combo square and it was a good deal. But the Speed Square is so big (length 185mm on the shortest side) that I can't even imagine carrying it with me or putting it in my toolbox; The marks are also so large and coarse (thin lines are 1mm thick) that they are too imprecise for fine woodwork. This is clearly a carpenter's tool for large construction jobs. The packaging was broken on delivery but probably due to mishandling during delivery so I can't blame the seller for that*. I'll try to return it anyway. If you are a big carpenter then this set might be for you. edit: *) although I see other reviewers have broken shipping boxes as well. Hm. Note on accuracy: Both squares are ticked correctly. So far, the square of the longest extended combination still applies. So I keep a set for myself, since there are no better offers in this price range. Maybe one day I can afford a 4" Starrett.
