Great cable with custom wire colors

I love having this coil connector on my trailer. The trailer is towed by several different vehicles whose connections are at different distances from the trailer hitch. It's really nice to be able to reach the plug wherever it is without worrying about the cord pulling or wrapping it around something when I don't need that much length. Hooking it up was easy, although the wire colors don't match. the standard you see in most places, so you'll need to use a multimeter to check which wire goes to which pin on the connector. I gave one star for that. The cable is quite stiff when new, but the reel will become more flexible over time. However, you have to pull very hard to stretch it up to two meters, and it may not stay connected with as much tension. Three years after installation it's still working great so I just bought another one for the horse trailer that I need to refit. Some people wonder about the length of the spiral fork, so thanks etrailer, here are the numbers. The length of the straight end with the fork is 10 inches. Straight end length with pigtails is 7 inches (including loose wires). The rolled portion is 10 inches when sealed together. So a total of 27 inches. Bargman makes twisted line in a variety of lengths from 6 to 12 feet, and they differ only in the length of the coiled portion. A bit of algebra tells me that an 8 foot cable needs a 13 inch spool (total 30 inches), a 10 foot cable needs a 16 inch spool (total 33 inches), and a 12 foot cable needs a Has 20 -inch spool (37 inch only).
