Okay, so when I was in high school and university I used to work in a shoe store in the mall in the evenings, summer and winter holidays, so I have some experience with all kinds of shoes. These shoes are advertised as being lightweight for diabetics and presumably for people with plantar fasciitis (PF) - so I'm both diabetic and suffer from PF so I bought these shoes expecting a good orthopedic shoe with great support, I mean them were $59 so they were a must have. The bottom line is these are $25 shoes you pay $60 for. What they do is just add extra cushioning insoles that have something to do with PF (no surprise) and since the criss-cross fabric strap is Velcro you can of course adjust the density to the width of your foot, this is their diabetic support explanation ; ok, but is it really still a feature? I wear 13W and this is what I ordered and the shoes leave scratches on both feet along the front of my feet near the pinky toes. I think they have an inseam that is stitched in that area that just rubs against the sole. side of the foot. Anyway when I opened the box my first impression was that I got a cheap $25 shoe that I paid $60 for so I felt cheated right away, luckily it's Revain so free ones return! These kids are back! Not recommended.
