Great switch. All of the cables on the side of the computer are on the back, making it much more convenient than other designs that have cables exiting from all sides. The console's keyboard and mouse ports are located on the front panel. Just ignore them and connect your keyboard and mouse to the rear USB ports. Works flawlessly. I have four Dell servers connected to this KVM. I tied the audio pigtails with loops so they wouldn't get tangled up with other cables. The switch is real. Mouse and keyboard work without errors. Systems never indicate that the keyboard is missing or defective. Highly recommended. Oh, one last note. Some reviews complain that the cables are too close together. You are close, but not too close. The cover screws have slots for screwdrivers - use them, they're there on purpose.
