The locking jaws that attach to the base of the leash work great and the lock combo flips easily. I use this lock and cable to attach the paddle board to the side of the boat supported by an outside pole. While the marina is safe, it really adds to my comfort by leaving the board in an easily accessible place. I wish there was a way to attach a short loop of thin nylon rope between the clamp and the cable as there is a risk of this thing falling into the murky waters below when removing the lock from the marina.
