Review on 🌌 Omegon Star Theater Pro: Planetarium Home Projector for Kids and Adults - LED Star Beamer for Constellation and Cosmos Projection by Jeff Payne

Good for the money: video projectors

This is a rebranded Uncle Milton projector. It shares the same features as the Sega Homestar Flux, although the Flux may have been brighter. (I used to have a Flux, but went back because it was $280 and wasn't much better than this one.) The Sega Flux had more features - speed change and a shooting star. The shooting star sucked in and was gone. It revs well and is definitely quieter. Both products suffer from focus problems. It's possible that if you have a perfectly flat ceiling and your device is properly aligned, focus will be good for the most part, but I think it'll still be blurry around the edges. It was a problem with Flux so I sent it back. But I'll keep this one because it's only $100. For those asking, Sega star rims are technically suitable for this projector and display the stars correctly. However, the hard drive does not spin as it is smaller and the machine cannot slide the hard drive. I would sell and buy a size for Uncle Milton. I highly recommend purchasing Miller Engineering's 1.2 million star disc. It's very, very detailed and looks more like the night sky.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say
