I was wary of buying this hat for my 2 year old when he was 1. He didn't want to wear hats, 2. The price of a hat for a toddler who doesn't want to wear hats, and 3. He has a smaller head BUT I liked it when I opened it and it lasted all summer trying to convince him that hats are cool and good and necessary to block the sunlight, but here we are at the end of August and he's ready to wear it - they're going to win. The material is soft and of excellent quality, as you are used to from Under Armour.
