The only reason I had to buy it a second time was because I forgot to take it off while I was coloring my hair (HOW DARE HE GO THROUGH!). To be honest, I shower with him every day. Work. A practice. To swim. I live life and never take it off. which would explain why it hadn't occurred to me to take it off while doing my hair. For the most part, you don't need to worry at all with this necklace, which is HUGE for jewelry in this price range. I even had a friend who called it my "dear" cross. I'm thinking of buying this necklace for everyone this year as a Christmas present.
