Review on PocketWizard PlusX Wireless Remote Trigger by Jenny Mendez

Personally I have never used transceivers. The description on the website didn't provide any information about the type of cable needed to connect the receiver to a strobe light. There were no instructions in the box, just a link to the website. The website gave very little information. Luckily I was able to talk to a friend who knew more about the transceiver than I did and he was able to find a cable for my flash on the internet. After getting the necessary cable, I connected the devices to my light and camera. The test button turned on the light, but it didn't light up when I pressed the camera's shutter button. After taking a few deep breaths, I switched devices and everything worked flawlessly. Each transceiver requires one AA battery and they do not come with transceivers so be aware of this when ordering this product. There should be more information on how to connect and use the transceivers for new inexperienced users, other than that I am satisfied with the product.
