This ladder is very light and easy to fold. When folded, it's only 25 inches tall, so it fits next to a table. It is primarily made of aluminium, but some steel is used where required for strength. The only downside is that the steps are too narrow, only 11 inches. If you wear shoes with laces and hooks, you can find that they can get caught, which is not very comfortable when walking on a stepper. In comparison, the two-step steel stepper I have is twice as heavy, but the steps are 14.5 inches wide and have a rung to hold on to. Depending on the application, I use both.
