These are not extra long bits. In the first display picture in the item description, they appear to be a lot longer than they actually are. and that's a bit deceptive. So my advice is based on your own personal needs, make sure you check out the dimensions on them. I actually have a few bits that are a good 2 or 3 inches longer. These are longer than the standard size bit and they may help you out in a tight spot, but they're not the longest bits you can buy. You may need to go longer depending on what you'll use them for. The magnetic feature is an added bonus and the case they come in is a plus because it's made well and definitely will help me keep up with them better. They're durable enough for tough jobs, so overall I give them 4 stars. Minus the one because they're titled incorrectly.
