As the day gets warmer, gas is forced out through the sensor fitting. Flush and repeat EVERY DAY until the gas is gone! I'm assuming it's irrevocable once there's gas in it. and DO NOT contact the manufacturer for a solution! UPDATE: It's been a little over a month and it's almost half out of the tank and just sitting in the garage. I decided to let my RV generator (which has a mercury plug) run out of fuel and the generator ran for hours and then died from lack of gas. BUT there is about a gallon left in the tank! Useless product!
