The dress is gorgeous and fits like a fit and flare. Cool fabric, but clingy so it will hug those curves. My measurements are 43, 40, 50 so I wasn't sure what size to get at first. I went with the 16 and thank God I did and not the 18. It was just stretchy enough to fit and flatter my large hips and butt, but is still a little large for my bust. One size up and the girls wouldn't be covered, one size down and those curves wouldn't be so flattering. I bought the dress for my 10 year high school reunion cocktail dinner. I figure every girl is going to be wearing the standard little black cocktail dress. With this dress I know I'll stand out, look good, and be comfortable after a night of mixing and dancing. Plus the cut of the top is one of my preferred styles, so I would love to order more of the shirts and dresses if they weren't so damn expensive!
