After the Covid pandemic I wanted one of those infrared thermometers for home use like we use at work. I'm an RN and have found this non-contact thermometer to be the safest option for taking group temperatures. We wall mounted it, but there are other mounting options, or just place it on a counter or in a box. It's a BIG, good size if you're planning on using it permanently for lots of people. It makes a robust and well-made impression. Since this is an infrared sensor, I add a degree to each number that comes up to compensate for the non-contact temperature reading. You have a choice of degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius, and there's an insert that comes with the thermometer to guide you through use and direction of what certain buttons or lights indicate. Easy to use and, since it is non-contact, fairly accurate. I'm definitely satisfied.
