UPDATED 4/15/2020. After a few months of use, my device started saying "ERR" and wasn't getting hot. I contacted the vendor's customer service and received a warranty replacement within 5 days due to the COVID-19 fiasco. AMAZING customer service. I'm back in business. Great external temperature controller. I used this to fix my Masterbuilt Smoker that died. I put the thermistor in the closet and wired the smoker up so it was always on. With this device I can control the temperature in the box. The only complaint is that the display turns off quickly and there's no way to keep it on other than pressing a button. So if you want to know the temperature, press the button.
