I've been looking for something like this for years to store gear in the back of my long F-150 bed with tool box. On a trip in 2011 I used an RV hull but prefer an open platform for portability. Besides, it looks better. I have just returned from a month long 3600 mile trip in the western states where I slept every night during the trip. The bag has fantastically withstood a strong wind, several strong thunderstorms. Everything was left as dry as I prefer, at least out of sight. And behind it there was space for 2 meter boxes with gear, my cooler and water jugs on the side. The zippers are strong and fully hidden under the fabric flap. It took practice to set up the cable as instructed, but it works; I would tighten the hooks every day. To reduce flapping, I'd say it helps to fully pack the bag and put heavier items on the bottom; As a result, I fit into another large plastic box with camping stoves, and on top - with things. The fuller it is, the less it pops. Plus a tight spider web on top will help.
