Review on Mirka 9955 5-Pack Abranet Grip Faced Pad Protector - Hook and Loop (5 per pack) by Mohmed Burt

I love the Abranet system! This requires extra padding protection and the discs are more expensive than the Mirka paper discs I've bought in the past. But the discs last a lot longer, the sander can pick up more dust, and I can get a much smoother finish on the hard maple I first sanded with it. I used to settle for 320 grit because the pads became inefficient so quickly (clogged or worn grit, I'm not sure what) that I didn't think the finer grit was worth trying. I bought a set of 35 Abranet discs (which is why I bought the pads separately). Now I can sand to 600 grit and the surface is as smooth as glass. I'm glad I have 5 of these pads because now I can share the patterns of the Abranet system with my friends.
