I wanted more variety in my blue shades and this collection fit the bill. The shades went from barely there blue to a deep violet. (there was also a pine green which I wouldn't have put in with blue but, ok) I had one marker with no ink in it at all but it was a pale ice green shade so it won't be missed by me. l only use them for coloring books to destress so I'm not sure how they will be on other paper- they did skip on the shiny color chart paper- but they are just fine for my books. As with all alchohol markers they will bleed thru so have a blotting sheet under your project. Overall l like this set, its fills up my missing shades of blue nicely.
