I bought this faucet for our master bathroom. I wake up before my husband and he's asleep right outside the bathroom door. I wanted something with dim lighting where I could slip in and out of the bathroom without sacrificing my eyesight by waking him up. This light did a great job. Our bathroom is a T shape, with the light at the top of the T, slightly to the left, and our door at the bottom of the T, about 10 feet away. When I open the door, the light comes on immediately. The light is bright enough that on a quick stop in the middle of the night I don't have to turn the light on at all. The night light doesn't come on when the regular light is on, which is great. However, when you turn on the light, it doesn't turn off immediately. Basically it's a programmed repetition. When the time is up, if it senses motion AND no lights are on, it will turn on/stay on. This means that the light stays on for 30 seconds after the main light is turned on. No big deal, it just means a few extra seconds of wasted power. Some reviewers said the light was too big. We have other night lights in outlets around the home and have found the size to be comparable and the design to be more aesthetically pleasing than your standard night light.
