This lamp is easy to install and requires no wires. The remote control is simple and works well. I bought this lamp to light up a dartboard at night. The light from the lamp illuminates most of the wall, which contains a dartboard and a small scoreboard. But even though I put in new, fresh batteries, the LEDs weren't bright enough. I ended up installing an equivalent 60W LED bulb, bulb base, light switch and wires, which I connected to a nearby fan. Now there is enough light to play darts in the evening. The lamp should be suitable for paintings, paintings, works of art etc., but not for playing darts in poor light conditions. The lamp is simply not suitable for this application.
