The use of interchangeable cable caps remains an ongoing problem. There seems to be a good balance between cost and functionality of the devices. I got confused when the picture showed 5 pairs of male and female ends, but I didn't call them pairs, I called them separate units. I was happy when the package arrived and I found 5 males and 5 females. I had 3 cords that needed a new end so I have the parts I need. The construction of the blocks leaves a lot to be desired, determining which bolts to tighten and in what order took me a bit of research to ensure I was paying proper attention to the installation process.
